A strategy practice, led by Sarah

Made By Sera.

I find the problem you cannot see, then build the system that fixes it. Strategy first. Technology second. Both, always, in service of the work that matters.

A consultancy for service businesses that are overwhelmed with the ambition to grow and unsure which step to take next.

01

The Consultant.

Sera is how my name, Sarah, is actually meant to be said. It is also the name of everything I build. Made by Sera is me. Sera, the AI receptionist, is one of the things I have made.

I am a strategist first. My training is in strategic management, my roots are in health, and my instinct, sharpened by two years running operations for a premium retail brand, is to look at a business and see the system underneath it. Where it leaks. Where it drags. Where a small change compounds.

I came into AI on purpose. It is the future of how businesses will work, and it is a room with very few women in it. I do not have a computer science background. I have a business one, and I decided early that understanding this shift was not optional for people like me. So I taught myself to build. Not gimmicks, but workflows that are strategically sound, that actually hand a client a competitive advantage rather than a novelty.

What ties it together is a single habit. I am good at naming the real problem, the one a business has stopped being able to see because they are standing inside it, and then designing the thing that resolves it. Clients come to me overwhelmed with the desire to grow and unsure which step to take. They leave with direction, a clear sense of where to put their time and money, and what the result will look like.

I am also a mother, in Auckland, building a career and a life at the same time. I mention it not as a footnote but as a fact of how I work. I chose to consult so I could be fully present in both. The systems thinking, the negotiating, the calm under competing demands, those are not skills I left at home. They are the ones I trade on.

02 · What I actually sell

I Sell My Mind.

You are not buying a template or a tool. You are paying for someone to walk into your situation, find the problems you have not spotted, and tell you which solution will move the needle most, for growth, for competitive advantage, for the long-term health of the business. The build is how I prove I was right.

  • i. Strategy & Diagnosis Advisory

The core of the practice. I read the business, name the real problem, and map the highest-impact path forward. Positioning, priorities, and where to invest time and money for growth and future sustainability.

  • ii. AI & Agentic Systems Sera

Voice and chat agents that answer, book, and reschedule so a business never misses an enquiry. Sera, my AI receptionist, is the flagship, built from a health background for how a real front desk actually runs. Hear a sample call ↗

  • iii. Workflow & Automation Operations

The quiet back-of-house systems that remove admin drag, connect the tools you already use, and give you back hours. Built to be strategically sound, not just clever.

  • iv. Strategic Websites Conversion

Where I began. Sites that communicate a company's value to the right audience and guide them, deliberately, toward the one action the business wants them to take.

Every business is different. I do not sell packages, I start with a conversation.

Selected Work.

A product I built, a clinic I rebuilt, and a field note from the street. Proof that the strategy holds up when it meets the real world.

01
Flagship Product Agentic AI Voice

Sera, the AI receptionist.

The product that carries my name. A voice and chat agent that answers every call, books and reschedules appointments, and makes sure a service business never loses a customer to a missed enquiry.

Sera did not start as a technology idea. It started with a health management background and a simple observation, that a front desk is the most valuable and most interrupted role in a service business. So I built the thing that should have existed: a receptionist that never sleeps, never misses, and books the appointment while the enquiry is still warm.

She was built for how a real clinic actually runs, not how software imagines one does. That is the whole difference.

Case Study Allied Health Automation

Villa Physiotherapy.

A New Zealand physio clinic, built out on Sera. Booking flows, KPI tracking, and voice-driven rescheduling that quietly reclaimed the front desk.

“As a small, home-based physiotherapy clinic operating without a receptionist, managing administrative tasks alongside patient care was a constant challenge. Sarah’s automation systems have been a great help for my business. Implementing the AI receptionist reduced my admin workload, allowing me to focus entirely on my clients. Sarah was very proactive in setting up and building the right systems/automations to my specific needs. I highly recommend her services to any health professional looking to streamline their operations.” Lloyd · Villa Physiotherapy

Villa came to the work like most good businesses do, growing, busy, and losing quiet money to admin friction and the gaps between appointments. I mapped the flows first, then built.

The clinic ran a live system: automated booking, KPI reporting, and voice rescheduling that let patients move an appointment by simply talking to Sera. The team got to spend its attention on patients instead of the phone.

Field Note Strategy & Copy Trades

The neighbour's tree.

A neighbourhood arborist was knocking on doors and watching them close. One deceptively simple flyer turned cold streets into a warm, self-qualifying pipeline through spring and summer.

The problem was not the work, it was the approach. Door-to-door with a business card reads as "I need work." So I flipped the frame. The flyer led with a single, honest line: we have just finished a job at your neighbour's place, give us a call if you ever need a hand.

That one move did three things at once. It gave him a real reason to be on the street. It borrowed the credibility of the neighbour so a cold door felt like a warm referral. And because the flyer looked and felt premium, it filtered for premium clients, the ones who want an arborist who builds a backyard worth sitting in, not just someone to cut a tree.

Not too salesy. Not desperate. Just good work, quietly offered to the right people at the right moment.

How I choose who I work with

If you want to change the world, solve a problem that helps a million people. So I build for the businesses that help people for a living.

I work best with people who care about the meaningful part of their work, not only the money. A healthy return matters too. To me those are not competing interests, and my job is to make sure both get met.
